London Bulgarian Choir is a vibrant, sociable and
open-hearted group of singers embracing all nationalities,
ages and abilities. It was founded in 2000 by renowned
Bulgarian singer Dessislava Stefanova and has become
a tour
de force,
performing across the UK and Bulgaria.
This song is a blessing for a young girl who has just come
of age. The words are simple but they open the door to the
mythic world of ancient Bulgaria. They remind us that
we are part of the universe and that we carry within us the
seeds of the divine. The song’s shimmering harmonies
and vocal style are like an echo from the cosmos, a call to
remember the shining radiance of being.
