Nina
Virdee is a leading exponent of Hindustani classical vocal
music. Today she uses her beautiful and resonant voice to
capture the spiritual and soulful emotions of
Gurbani
Keertan. This
Sikh spiritual poetry tells of man’s suffering on
earth, the preciousness of life, stories from the time of
the Gurus (15th
and
16th
centuries),
and the eternal majesty of the Almighty.
Nina has performed in India, Kenya and for the Queen.
