SUSSEX
Polina Shepherd, Chutzpah and Damh the
Bard
World-class klezmer musician Polina Shepherd and the
Brighton and Hove-based Chutzpah Choir perform Jewish folk
songs in Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian and Ukrainian,
plus niggunim,
the age-old Jewish ‘songs without
words’.
Damh is a modern-day bard who expresses his spirituality
and love of folk tradition through his songs. Drawing on
Pagan traditions, his performances weave a tapestry of myth
