We regret to say that Rajeswar Bhattacharya has been refused a visa to enter the UK, in spite of the fact that he has regularly visited this country to teach Tagore songs for the past 15 years.
However, his friends and students will perform an intimate evening of songs, poems and stories, in honour both of Rabindranath Tagore’s 150th anniversary and Rajeswar Bhattacharya himself.
Artists will include Suekali (singer), Julia Dale (poet), Pat Bowen (storyteller), plus mini-exhibition of Tagore’s life and work, and
Indian chai and snacks.
